中央空調冷水機組的保養有兩種：一種是故障保養，只有在發(fā)生故障時(shí)才進(jìn)行修理，平時(shí)并不特別費心；另一種預防性保養，為了能使機械處于良好的運轉狀態(tài)而經(jīng)常有計劃地進(jìn)行保養，具體來(lái)說(shuō)，這是一種實(shí)行定期檢查，更換零部件，保證不出現運轉故障的一種管理方法。前一種方法在機械設備保持全新?tīng)顟B(tài)時(shí)，不必支付保養費用，經(jīng)濟性似乎較好，但是隨著(zhù)機組的使用年限增加，出現事故的危險性增加，修理費用也顯著(zhù)增加。后一種預防性保養法事先考慮到機械運轉時(shí)的磨損和性能變化，據此制定保養計劃，使機械的老化局限于小范圍之內。從新機器開(kāi)始就實(shí)行這種有計劃的保養管理，初好像要多花費一些保養費，但是機械壽命延長(cháng)，以后出現大故障的可能性減小，這樣總的保養費反而比較低。機組的運行壽命取決于運行狀態(tài)、維護情況，制冷機組設計和制造的運行壽命在15年以上，條件是按照維護要求進(jìn)行經(jīng)常性維護和定期更換易損件。  運轉管理人員必須了解下列事項：檢查什么（檢查項目），何時(shí)檢查（檢查頻繁程度），為何檢查（檢查目的），如何進(jìn)行檢查（檢查方法），這個(gè)數據是否正確（判斷結果），情況惡化怎么辦（對策與處理）。  為此在記錄機器每日運轉狀態(tài)和定期檢查時(shí)拆開(kāi)情況時(shí)，如果能徹底理解上述六點(diǎn)，就能掌握記錄數據所包含的內容，看出微小的故障征狀，直接采取對策與處理方法，事后防止發(fā)生重大事故，同時(shí)對今后制定保養計劃也有好處。
